Introduction:

Mental health systems work best when things are simple. One diagnosis. One clinician. One discipline at a time.
Most people do not fit that shape.
Journey HS is a clinically-led practice built for the people who do not. Psychology, positive behaviour support and occupational therapy, working as one team instead of three separate referrals.
We partnered with Journey HS to build the brand for that space. Clinically credible without the cold. Structured enough to carry the weight these families are already carrying.

The Challenge:

Australia is failing more than 130,000 adults with significant psychosocial disability. Too complex for standard private therapy. Not acute enough for public services. Funded, but with no clear line between the funding and the support it is meant to buy.
The person who feels that gap most is rarely the patient. It is the carer. Usually a mother, years into the system, who has repeated her child’s story more times than she can count.
She is not looking for inspiration. She is looking for competence.
So the brand had a narrow line to walk. Warm enough that a clinic does not read as institutional. Structured enough to prove there is a qualified team behind it. Every decision, from the identity through to the signage on the door, had to say the same thing: complexity is welcome here.
